BIG Tours and Safaris' new website is now live
Allotropic Ltd has completed and launched the new website for BIG Tours and Safaris, twelve days after the two businesses agreed the project.
The site brings the business's tour packages, destinations, and photography together in one place for the first time, alongside a working enquiry line that lets prospective customers reach BIG Tours and Safaris directly from any tour listing, rather than through a social media comment. It is the business's first proper website, and the first place its full range of tours has been listed together rather than spread across individual posts built up over time.
Design decisions
The site was expanded to include more than 42 tour package sections, with many more to be added. All delivered in one phase, deliberately, so that visitors reach the information they need in one or two clicks rather than navigating a structure the business does not yet need. The contact page routes enquiries straight to WhatsApp, matching how BIG Tours and Safaris already handles most of its customer contact, rather than introducing a separate enquiry form customers would first need to learn how to use.
Domain registration, hosting, and a professional email address were set up under the business's own domain as part of the build, replacing the personal contact details previously used for enquiries. The gallery was structured to make adding new tour photography straightforward, since this is the section expected to change most often as new trips are completed and photographed. Also we expanded to backend workflow for owner to be able to add, changed or remove packages, destinations, and gallery images. For his comfort we added video gallery as well.
Outcome
The site is live and is now the primary link shared with prospective customers, replacing a mix of personal numbers and social accounts. Package descriptions and pricing already provided by BIG Tours and Safaris are live. Allotropic Ltd remains available to make small updates during this early period as the business settles into using the site day to day, and will hand over full editing access once that settling-in period is complete.
