Allotropic to build a transaction management system for Sully Mobile Services

Allotropic Ltd has signed an agreement with Sully Mobile Services to design and build a transaction management system for the business. The agreement was signed yesterday, and work begins this month.

Sully Mobile Services operates as a mobile money and bank agency business, handling deposits and withdrawals across multiple shops. Until now, transactions have been recorded manually, with no single view of how each branch or till is performing on a given day. Reconciling the day's takings has meant collecting figures from each till separately rather than reading them from one place. The new system replaces that with one place to record every transaction and see the business as a whole, rather than piecing it together branch by branch at the end of the week.

Scope

The system is built around four core capabilities:

• Transaction recording: every deposit and withdrawal captured with commission, reference, and till details, automatically rather than by hand
• A KPI dashboard: a real-time view of transaction volumes, commissions earned, and float levels, broken down by day, week, and month
• Multi-branch access: separate views for the business owner, branch managers, and individual tellers, so each level of staff sees only what is relevant to their role
• Bulk transaction import: statements can be uploaded in bulk and matched automatically, rather than re-entered one line at a time

The agreement also includes a domain, hosting, and a professional email address under the business's own name, along with a print-ready promotional poster for shop display. Access is structured so that responsibility follows role: a teller records transactions at their own till, a branch manager sees their branch's totals, and the owner sees the business across every branch from a single account.

Status

Design work is starting from the requirements agreed during scoping, and the system's structure (branches, staff roles, and the services Sully Mobile Services offers) is being confirmed before development begins in earnest.
